A military veteran, I suffered a below right knee amputation, serious internal injuries and CPTSD while serving in HM Armed Forces.

I was introduced to wheelchair rugby through BLESMA around 5 years ago. Since then I’ve competed in various competitions but my biggest achievement so far is winning the silver medal for wheelchair rugby at the 2023 Invictus Games in Düsseldorf Germany.

Wheelchair rugby has become a massive part of my life, as well as a major factor in my recovery journey, both physically and mentally.
